Birds Singing, Flowers Blooming

bird and flowers Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the trees are budding, birds are singing and the flowers are blooming. The good news is everything is looking bright and new. Not without the effort and struggle of the long cold winter could we enjoy such a season of beauty. As it is with God, not until the struggle that the divine had in the human state (Jesus) could we humans have the promise of a new life with the divine (Christ living in us). Spend a moment and ponder the committment you made with Christ. Let him transform in you once more this day, the life spirit so that you may bloom and grow with Him in the right way in the right time and in the right season.

Holy Lord, Thank you for the birds that sing and the flowers that bloom. Help us to pay attention to our surroundings to see you in all things. Help us to be still inside and listen to you each moment so that we may know that we are walking the path in which you are leading. Then may we be ready to speak your truth, serve your people, and love your creation. Amen.
